Penbrooke Meadows is a residential neighbourhood located in the southeast of Calgary, Alberta. It is situated east of the 52 Street SE, south of the East Freeway, and west of Penbrooke Drive and the regional municipality of Foothills No. 31. This community was established in 1982 and is one of the largest neighbourhoods in the area.
The community is managed by the Penbrooke Meadows Community Association, which was founded in 1978. The area is served by a public library and a number of schools including a high school, middle school, and three elementary schools. There are also recreational facilities such as outdoor rinks, tennis courts, soccer fields, a skate park and a spray park. The community is home to the popular hot dog stand, Bailey's World Famous Hotdogs.
Penbrooke Meadows is home to a variety of recreational opportunities including green spaces and pathways. The neighbourhood is home to the Penbrooke Meadows Park which features a soccer field, baseball diamond, basketball court, and playground. The community also offers an outdoor skating rink, tennis court, and toboggan hill for its residents to enjoy.
